Vibro-Acoustical Lounger – The Sound Bed

Our Vibroacoustical Sound Lounger instantly soothes your busy mind and relaxes your entire body using sound frequencies deliver powerful sound to your ears and body, making you feel amazing!

Our first experience with sound is in the womb where we felt the comforting vibration of our mother’s heartbeat and voice.  Sound waves move through water five times more efficiently than through air, and the fact that the human body is made up of more than 50% water means our body is a great receptor for sound waves and vibroacoustic therapy. The word vibroacoustic comes from the root word vibro (to vibrate) and acoustics (to hear); vibroacoustic therapy involves music and/or sound that is felt as well as heard.

The vibrational accompaniment provided by the bed creates a complete synchronistic effect between mind and body. Particularly, when used with guided visualizations/meditations, the voice is felt as a light vibration on the skin, which then relays the voice signal to the brain where it is processed by the RAS (Reticular Activating System).

Because it is felt as a subtle vibration it then gets stored into the Subconscious. When coupled with the light and sound headset it adds yet another layer of relaxation as the same neurological beat patterns one hears and feels are encoded to the blinking lights.

This adds an important element since the optic cortex takes up more area within the brain then all other four senses put together.

Benefits of the Vibro-acoustic Sound Bed include but are not limited to*:

  • Lower Blood Pressure
  • Relaxes Muscles, Reduces Pain
  • Increased Circulation
  • Increased Sleep Quality
  • Speeds Healing Time
  • Regulates Limbic System
  • Makes Us More Resilient to  Stressors

The goal of any vibroacoustic experience is to achieve a state of deep relaxation.  Vibroacoustic therapy is a noninvasive therapy with no known negative side effects. Our Vibro-acoustical lounger works by combining physical and mental stimulation, creating a mind-body connection.
